Car Rental Agreement - Summary

By confirming your booking, you agree to the terms below.

1. Vehicle and Term
   We rent the designated vehicle (the "Vehicle") to you for the dates shown in your booking confirmation.
   
   

2. Driver Eligibility and Authorized Drivers
   You must be at least 21 years old with a valid driver's license. Only you and any additional drivers authorized by New Jersey Car Rental may operate the Vehicle.
   
   

3. Geographic Use and Mileage
   Travel is limited to New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, and Pennsylvania unless we provide prior written approval. Mileage is unlimited unless otherwise stated in your booking confirmation.
   
   

4. Vehicle Return - Condition and Timing
   Return the Vehicle on time and in clean condition. Fees may apply for late returns, unclean condition, or unauthorized use.
   
   

5. Standard Fees
   
   

• $150 fee for lost keys
  
  
• $250 fee for smoking or vaping
  
  
• Toll charges incurred during the rental (plus any processing fees)
  
  

6. Security Deposit
   A refundable $200 deposit is required and may be applied to or forfeited for violations, fees, or damages.
   
   

7. Liability and Insurance
   You are responsible for all traffic and parking violations, damage, loss, and towing during the rental period. You must maintain valid automobile insurance throughout the rental and provide proof upon request. We may repossess the Vehicle for contract breaches or unauthorized use.
   
   

8. Personal Property
   New Jersey Car Rental is not responsible for personal belongings left in the Vehicle.
   
   

9. Entire Agreement and Acceptance
   This Agreement represents the entire understanding between the parties. By proceeding with your booking, you acknowledge full acceptance of these terms.
